Stefan Ehlen

To write about motor racing. That's what Stefan always wanted to do from an early age. He was still at school when he got his first chance to do so with Eurosport in 2002. His next steps included a freelance position at the local newspaper in Schramberg and German studies at Tübingen University. Even before he took his final exams in 2008, Stefan began to work for Motorsport-Total.com. His first experience in motor racing reporting came with the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) with which he travelled to race events across five continents. At the moment Stefan is focussed on Formula 1, the series he has been following for decades, after Michael Schumacher had sparked his interest in the sport. In 2019 Stefan published "Grand-Prix-Geschichte(n)", a non-fiction Formula 1 history book. He regularly talks about Formula 1 and all things motor racing in podcasts and on TV.
