Dan Wheldon topped the times in Saturday morning Indy Lights practice at the Molson Indy in Toronto. Wheldon finished the session as the only driver under the 1:05 barrier, posting a time of 1:04.772.

Wheldon, Townsend Bell and Mario Dominguez traded top times throughout the first half of the session, until Wheldon set the definitive lap time halfway through the session. At the end, Bell had the second fastest time, at 1:05.036, and Dominguez was third with a 1:05.495.

Bell currently holds the provisional pole position for Sunday's race, having set a time of 1:04.325 in Friday afternoon's qualifying session. British rookie driver Wheldon will be looking to improve his time and to bump Bell from the pole in today's final qualifying.

Wheldon is currently in 5th place in Indy Lights season standings with 47 points, 24 points behind championship leader Bell.
