WALKER RACING TAKES OVER STEFAN WILSON INDY LIGHTS PROGRAM

Indianapolis, IN (April 17, 2009)- The season opener for the Firestone Indy Lights Series got off to an encouraging start for British driver Stefan Wilson, brother of IndyCar Series driver Justin Wilson, at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg last weekend. The rookie drove the No. 19 car in the first two races with First Motorsports.

Wilson made his season debut in St. Petersburg as he embarked on his first season of competition in the Firestone Indy Lights Series. The 20 year-old comes to the U.S.-based open-wheel category after spending the majority of his career in Europe. In 2007, Stefan claimed four pole positions, four race wins, six fastest laps and two outright lap records on his way to finish second in the Formula Palmer Audi Championship. Following that impressive season, Wilson was named winner of the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.

The Brit will continue his promising momentum on the downtown streets of Long Beach, California next weekend for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach April 17th to April 19th, with Walker Racing as the designated entrant. The Indianapolis-based team announces the change of entry starting at Long Beach replacing First Motorsports, effective immediately.

Joining Walker Racing and Stefan Wilson for a limited 2009 season are the UK based companies, Solvents with Safety Limited (SWS) and Personal Health and Safety Consultants (PHSC). Also returning to Walker Racing are two Canadian companies, Deans Knight Capital Management and Wasteco.

"We are glad to be a part of the Firestone Indy Lights Series. It's a very competitive series and we are happy to have Stefan driving the Walker Racing, #19 Dallara on Firestone tires. It is also a big thanks to Solvents with Safety Limited (SWS), Personal Health and Safety Consultants (PHSC), Deans Knight Capital Management and Wasteco for help make it possible," stated Derrick Walker, Walker Racing owner.
