Toronto: AFS/Andretti Racing race report

CHARLIE KIMBALL, ...

CHARLIE KIMBALL, #26 TEAM LEVEMIR® CAR

"That was a lot of fun. It was a really long, hard, hot race. The #26 Levemir® car was good from green to checkered. I could fight all day; I could have gone another 10-15 laps for sure. The car was only getting better. All the credit goes to the AFS Racing/Andretti Autosport guys. Except for a mechanical issue during qualifying, we were in the top five all weekend. On to Edmonton and, if not a win, definitely a podium finish."

MARTIN PLOWMAN, #27 TEAM AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR

"Considering that was my worst finish of the season, that could have been the best race of my life. We had a bad start and lost two positions. On lap two, Kasemets put a huge mark on me on the inside of turn three and I couldn't get by. The next lap he did the same thing, and I made a mistake and lost the front wing. The guys did an amazing job to change my front wing and keep me less than one lap down. I went out in 15th place and just picked everybody off, one by one. The blocking was just diabolical today. I just want to thank the #27 crew for their hard work. We'll get them in Edmonton."
