New Team Sponsor announced

St. Petersburg, FL (April 1, 2009) -- Stefan Wilson driving the #19 FIRST Motorsports entry in the Firestone Indy Lights Series took his first spin in the Team's new car on Monday at Sebring International Raceway.

"Stefan did a great job," commented FIRST Motorsports owner Jon Lewis. "I was very impressed with how smooth he is with the car, especially never being in an Indy Lights car before. Stefan was very consistent and worked well with his engineer to steadily increase the performance of the car. We ran over 200 miles on Monday and Stefan was consistent even with over 100 miles on his first set of tires. We're all looking forward to St. Pete. We weren't the quickest yesterday, but we were right on pace. With the combination of a new untested car, a driver who's never been in one of these cars or ever seen the track before, I was extremely pleased with the outcome. Especially considering many of the others teams and drivers have had a lot of testing under their belts before our first test."

Lewis said about the Team, "I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Walker Racing (who operates the racing program for FIRST Motorsports). They worked their tails off to get the car ready for this test and the car ran flawlessly. I owe a lot of gratitude to these guys. They're a tremendous group and I definitely made the right decision to have them run our operation."

FIRST Motorsports announced today the signing of a new Primary Associate Sponsor ( for the #19 entry with driver Stefan Wilson. is the place to shop for a collapsible backpack cooler specially designed for the racing and general sports enthusiast. These unique coolers have features not found in other coolers like integrated seat cushions and a lifetime "no leak" guarantee. New additions to the flipNbags brand will include lunch boxes and back packs for children and a line of business accessories. Company spokesman Dale Clemons stated "We are excited to join forces with FIRST Motorsports to bring our awesome US made products to the fans of open wheel racing"

"We are very proud that has chosen our team to represent them in open-wheel racing in North America," stated Team Owner Jon Lewis. "Their products are representative of the quality of our team. If you're looking for the best coolers and bags on the market, there is no better place to go then to"
