"I'm really looking forward to St. Petersburg. The off-season testing has gone really well, and the #26 Team Levemir® FlexPlen® car is running great. The team and I have integrated very well. My engineer and I understand each other which is helpful. It will be interesting to see how the track develops over the weekend. Hopefully the weather stays good, but if it's raining or dry I have a lot of confidence that we'll stay up front."
MARTIN PLOWMAN, #27 TEAM AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR
* Finished fifth at Kansas and Mid-Ohio and recorded eight top-10 finishes in his first season as a Firestone Indy Lights driver in 2009
* Youngest winner of French Formula A Open International Championship where he earned seven podiums and four wins in 10 races in 2003
"I'm really looking forward to getting the season underway. It's been a long off-season, and I'm really excited to start racing for Andretti Autosport for the first time. We've had a very strong off-season, and the testing has gone very well. I've gelled with the team very quickly and I feel like I've been with the team a whole year already. Going into the season with the #27 Team AFS Racing/Andretti Autosport car, I'm feeling more confident than I ever have. My goal this year is to win races and ultimately win the championship. I feel that with the team I have around me, this is possible."
