J.R. Hildebrand on the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg:
"I'm really excited to get the 2009 season started. We have done a great deal of testing this off-season and things have been going very well, especially with our non-oval program. We tested in Sebring and I think got a great deal of useful information that we will use in St. Pete as well as Long Beach. The AFS/AGR crew has been working really hard this off-season so I hope to be able to show them their hard work paid off."
Sebastian Saavedra Facts:
* 18-year old rookie of the year candidate from Bogota, Columbia
* Tested quickest in most-recent Firestone Indy Lights Open Test at Barber Motorsports Park, just in front of teammate J.R. Hildebrand
Sebastian Saavedra on the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg:
"I'm feeling very positive going into my first Lights race with AFS/AGR. We had a couple great tests, and it shows how strong the team, the engineers, and my teammate (J.R. Hildebrand) are as a whole. I'm looking forward to the race; I have heard the track is fun but very challenging at the same time. I hope the team, like last year, is a contender for winning the Championship as well as the 2009 Rookie-of-the-Year."
