Simmor, Kane tackle Vancouver streets for first

JEFF SIMMONS, ...

JEFF SIMMONS, #26 Team KOOL Green Lola T97/20: @(First race in Vancouver; Currently 7th in standings with 50 points)

"With only five races to go this season, it's now or never in terms of making a charge for the championship. And with three consecutive races, the opportunity is certainly there. Now is when you're glad to be running with a front-line outfit like Team KOOL Green. They've given me a good car all season, and we've had some success in qualifying and we've been in contention in some races, but we've just not put a complete weekend together. With three weeks of doing nothing but racing, hopefully we can finally do that."

JONNY KANE, #27 Team KOOL Green Lola T97/20: @(First race in Vancouver; Currently 10th in standings with 35 points)

"Three races on three different types of circuits on three consecutive weekends. That's what I like about racing for Team KOOL Green in America! I'm glad the street circuit is up first, because it seems to suit my style of driving the best. I've won the pole on both street circuits this year (Long Beach and Detroit) and I think I'll need to do that this weekend in Vancouver, as this series is so competitive and the track appears to be fairly tight. It's a new track for me, but my friend Dario (Franchitti) knows his way around here. I'm sure I'll spend some time with him before first practice."
