Daniel Herrington to Drive the #36 Quamtel / DataJack Entry in Season Finale at Homestead

September 27, 2010. Indianapolis, IN - O2 Racing Technology announces that American, Daniel Herrington, will pilot the #36 Quamtel/DataJack entry in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

With a race win and an additional 18 top ten finishes in 29 starts, Herrington is eager for the opportunity to once more prove his mettle on the fast 1.5 mile speedway in Homestead, FL. Teammates for a handful of races in 2008, Herrington and team owner, Mark Olson, the 2010 season finale presented itself as the perfect chance to launch a couple of new opportunities for next season.

Based in the Fort Lauderdale area, Quamtel (stock ticker OTC: QUMI, with their latest product DataJack and several other products and services) views the Homestead round as their "home" race. They are quite pleased to have Herrington represent them in this important event.

Mark Olson states,

"I've known Daniel for several years now, and it's always been a pleasure working with him. We've got a lot of laps at Homestead, and with Daniel driving and Dave McMillan engineering, our expectations are high for a great result heading into the off-season. Daniel's smart, mature, and talented, and we're super-excited about the opportunity to work together as we both begin working on our 2011 programs. We expect to have quite a crowd at the event, and we're looking to put forth an entertaining show."

Daniel Herrington states,

"After watching from the sidelines for most of the year, I was very excited to hear about the opportunity with O2 (formerly Genoa) for the season finale. I have known both Mark and the engineer, Dave McMillan, for a number of years - with Dave bringing me my first Indy Lights podium in 2007. I am excited to work with them again. With Miami as the home-base for Quamtel, I can't wait to work with our sponsors in bringing a strong performance on and off the track and building on this program for 20111"
