Herdez-Pegaso-backed driver Mario Dominguez achieved his first podium in the Dayton Indy Lights 2000 season this Monday, in the rain-delayed race held at the Milwaukee Mile. Mario took the third position, after giving a good performance.

Mario Dominguez, Car #7, Herdez/Pegaso Team: "I am very happy this result. My Herdez/Pegaso Team did a good job. My car developed oversteer during the race, but that's all. I hope I will visit the Winners Circle more often during the season and of course, I will work hard to win in the future."

Ramiro Fidalgo, engineer for the Herdez/Pegaso Team: "We are delighted with our first podium in the season and we are looking forward for more."
