CORAL SPRINGS, FL (March 29, 2005) -- Mishael Abbott and the Hemelgarn Johnson Motorsports team have elected to withdraw their entry of the No. 91 car for Mishael in this weekend's Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Due to the fact that Mishael is running a limited schedule because of the current level of funding, the team will focus on preparing for the two races at Indianapolis and competing for a podium at each of these races.

"We are scheduled to do more testing between now and the Futaba Freedom 100," stated Mishael Abbott. "We have a great group of people working with us and I expect us to perform well when we return at Indy."

Mishael will be in St. Petersburg throughout the weekend making appearances, doing interviews, visiting with her fans, and drumming up sponsorship support so she can complete in the remainder of the 2005 Menards Infiniti Pro Series season. Mishael will appear with Racing for KidsÒ at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg Thursday morning and with other Indy Racing League drivers at East Bay Raceway Park Saturday night.

Menards Infiniti Pro Series is the top ladder series for the Indy Racing League IndyCarÒ Series and incubator for the racing stars of tomorrow. Mishael is pursuing her formal education at Florida Atlantic University, working toward an elementary school teaching degree, and seeking sponsorship support to complete the entire season of Menards Infiniti Pro Series.
