AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT FIRESTONE INDY LIGHTS NOTES AND QUOTES, POST-RACE AVOID THE STORK.COM 100

CHARLIE KIMBALL, #26 TEAM LEVEMIR® FLEXPEN® CAR
* Finished in 13th place after an accident early in the race

"That's not how I wanted to start the race. Starting in the back, I was trying to make a couple of moves early and see if I could get to the front. Heading into Turn 1, I was running a little bit higher than I had earlier. I was way out of the gas and the back just came around. Maybe the tires were a little cold and I was just pushing a little harder. I'm fine. I feel really bad for the guys because the #26 Levemir® FlexPen® car was going to be quick. It had been quick all day. We'll just see how much it's going to hurt us in the championship and move forward from here. We'll get the next one."

MARTIN PLOWMAN, #27 TEAM AFS RACING/ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT CAR
* Took the 2nd place podium finish, his best finish in the 2010 season

"It was a really intense race for us. We actually got a great jump on the start. After that, I just tried to pursue him and chase him down. For the first 50 laps I thought I had a car to match him. It was just very hard to get close enough to make a pass. I thought we had a car good enough to make a win today, but we just lost a bit of momentum near the end. I want to say a big thank you to the #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Autosport crew. They gave me a great car today. We gained some points for the championship, and I'm looking for our first win soon."
