Genoa is proud to announce Duncan Tappy will drive Genoa's #63 Firestone® Indy Lights car at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Winning nearly 25% of the races he enters, Duncan is considered by many to be one of the top young drivers in the world today.

Hailing from West Ewell, Surrey, UK, Duncan's first full season in car racing produced a remarkable thirteen consecutive race wins in Formula Ford. Not only did he take the championship, he dominated the prestigious Formula Ford Festival where he faced stiff competition. The following season Duncan chose Formula Renault UK to make his mark. He spent his first season with his old Formula Ford team -- Jamun Racing -- learning the car and the engineering aspects that make it such a competitive series. He received the prestigious British Racing Drivers Club "Rising Star" Award for his efforts.

2007 saw a move to Fortec Motorsport where Duncan wasted no time in making an impression. Duncan contended for the Championship. 2008 saw Duncan competing in the Superleague Formula producing three podiums in five events.

Testing on ovals and road courses, Genoa has enjoyed a successful off-season, recording a lap record at Palm Beach International Raceway and a fastest lap of the day at Miami-Homestead. Genoa will participate in one final warm-up at Sebring International Raceway on Monday March 30th, prior to the season opening double race weekend at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Genoa's President Mark Olson expressed his excitement upon completing the arrangements for the newest addition to the stable.

Mark Olson states: "Duncan is an outstanding, young talent and we are incredibly excited to have him. His professional experience and understanding of the equipment will fit well into our overall philosophy and approach. We are looking forward to having Duncan on the track and really showing what we can do."
