England's Dan Wheldon -- who won the last race in the 2001 CART Dayton Indy Lights Championship -- is seeking further success today when the tenth round of the single-seater series is held at 3pm (local time) around the 2.54-mile Road Atlanta circuit at Braselton in Georgia, USA.23-year old Wheldon is currently in a strong third place in the 12-race 'Official Development Series' of CART with 103 points -- only 28 behind the series leader -- with a potential 66 points still to be scored in the remaining three races.

After yesterday's two qualifying sessions, Wheldon will line-up sixth on the starting grid, ahead of his team-mate Mexican Mario Dominguez, for this afternoon's 75-mile race which is being held in supportof tomorrow's Audi Petit Le Mans 1,000-mile endurance race.

In yesterday morning's first qualifying session, Dan Wheldon set the third fastest time, 1 minute 15.556 seconds, in his Gemstar Communications PacWest Racing Lola-Buick, but in the afternoon's warmer session his best time was 1 minute 15.785 seconds.
