Saturday Qualifying

Airton Dare, #1 Banestado Lola - Qualified 11th:

"We struggled with the setup this weekend. The car is getting better, but I think we could have gone a bit further with the changes we made before qualifying. I had understeer at the exit of Turn 2 and that cost us a bit."

Guy Smith, #6 Swift Caravans Lola - Qualified 2nd:

"Overtaking is going to be very tough at this track, and we definitely have an advantage qualifying at the front. It's been a good weekend for us so far. This track really emphasizes setup. It's a great facility and the track is unique. I would say it's like Homestead in some ways, but more compact. We've had a lot of things go against us this year, but lately it's seems to be turning around. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully a good result."
