Justin raring to go in Brazil
The waiting's almost over. Justin and Dreyer and Reinbold Racing have spent the last few days in Brazil getting ready for Sunday's Sao Paulo Indy 300 and have high hopes of a great start to the 2010 IZOD IndyCar season around the 2.6 mile temporary street circuit.
As well as Justin's No. 22 Z-Line Designs car and team-mate Mike Conway's No. 24 Dad's Root Beer entry, DRR will have a third car on the grid for Sunday's race - the No. 23 Ipiranga car piloted by the talented Brazilian and Firestone Indy Lights race-winner Ana Beatriz.
"I'm looking forward to the new season and can't wait to get started," said Justin. "I've had a lot of good results here. I came to Sao Paulo and Curitiba when I competed in Formula 3000, Formula One and the Nissan World Series and it's always a great atmosphere. I won my first race in Formula 3000 in Sao Paulo and a Nissan World Series race as well and hopefully I can do the same here in the IZOD IndyCar Series. We showed in testing that the Z-Line Designs car is fast, so hopefully we can keep that going and get some good results. We just have to keep our heads down and keep working hard. I'd like to start the season off strong and get my first win of the season in the IZOD IndyCar Series and I think that is definitely a possibility."
To get you in the mood there's a pre-race video interview with Justin on JW TV and, if you've not had a chance to read his new column for RACER.com, you can find it here. Justin also shares his thoughts on the competition with Autosport.com.
