MARCO ANDRETTI, #26 TEAM VENOM ENERGY DRINK CAR
* Qualified ninth for Sunday's Grand Prix of Long Beach
"I was disappointed to not get the Venom car into the Firestone Fast Six. I think the car still has some to give, we just couldn't find it all today before the session ended. But we are starting inside the top-ten so I'm still optimistic that we can get the job done."
RYAN HUNTER-REAY, #37 TEAM IZOD CAR
* Will start on the outside of the front row on Sunday
"This feels good. We just weren't in a position to gamble with our last set of (Firestone) 'reds' the way Will (Power) did. Had we been able to save them, I think we could have been right there fighting with him. But, we needed to use ours earlier in the session. The IZOD guys have done a great job this weekend. We're stuck to our guns and the car has been so much fun to drive. It's one that I'm really enjoying and hopefully it will be a good, consistent car tomorrow."
TONY KANAAN, #11 TEAM 7-ELEVEN CAR
* Qualified sixth today
"Today was good for Team 7-Eleven. We are so much better than we were a year ago and I am having so much fun. Things have been working great among the teammates. I have to thank Ryan (Hunter-Reay). He is doing a great job for us, pushing me to the limit. It's been a while since I had a teammate that would make me push this way and try too hard. I'm pleased. It's fun. This year has been so much fun. The level of competition is so high in this series right now. You've got to be perfect. I'm having fun. I'm having fun again."
DANICA PATRICK, #7 TEAM GoDaddy.com CAR
* Will start 20th on Sunday
"Starting 20th is not where I thought our day would end, but it is. I hope tomorrow's race produces with a better result for the GoDaddy car."
