Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We arrived here with a good Motorola car. We had a good first run today and the car is really well balanced. Hopefully we can get out in front of the red and white cars. My crew has worked really hard this week turning the car around."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"As a team, we didn't do a very good job today. We need to try and do a better job. We had issues with the car all day and we didn't get to run very many laps at all. The car is fine, it's just slow."
Marco Andretti, #26 Forsythe Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I'm not really happy with the qualifying run but I do think we got the most out of the Forsythe car today. The good thing is that we have a really good race car so I'm not very worried about where I start."
Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Today was my first time to drive the Formula Dream car at Kansas Speedway, so I was mainly learning the track. There were a couple problems in the practice sessions, but the Formula Dream team fixed them and gave me a great car for qualifying. Tony is in front of me so I will try to follow him as much as possible in the race. I will do my best and concentrate on finishing the race without any mistakes."
Raphael Matos, #27 AFS/AGR Dallara/Firestone
"It was a good day. We were able to work on qualifying runs and race setup. I think we still need to find more speed for qualifying, but we certainly made a lot of improvements from the last oval race at Homestead. I'm pretty happy and Arie (Luyendyk Jr.) is right up there with me, so that means the AFS/AGR cars are very consistent. We'll see what happens tomorrow."
Arie Luyendyk Jr., #26 AGR/AFS Dallara/Firestone
"It's been a difficult day for us, even though the AFS/AGR cars are at the top of the charts. We still have a lot of work to do on the cars. At Homestead, we found we had big understeer in the cars. We came here fairly addressive and we're pretty loose out there. It's difficult to drive, but it's fast. Hopefully we can sort it out and get a good balance for the race."
