Tony Kanaan has crashed during green-flag pit stops.
INDIANAPOLIS - On the 150th lap, Tony Kanaan got loose and backed into the wall, jumbling the running order.
Kanaan had just pitted and took on a downforce adjustment which may have caught him off guard as his car wiggled just enough to break loose on him.
Kanaan’s incident came directly in the middle of pit stops, just after Will Power, Juan Pablo Montoya and Helio Castroneves exited the pits, shaking up the order.
On top of the leaderboard was Alex Tagliani followed by Charlie Kimball and Simon Pagenaud. Tagliani pitted under the ensuing caution, but Kimball led the field on the restart.
