Justin Wilson Heading For The Milwaukee Mile

The Milwaukee Mile

Justin looks forward to Milwaukee Mile

Justin and the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team have put their mixed results from Texas behind them and regrouped for this weekend’s Milwaukee 225 in Wisconsin. The historic Milwaukee Mile was absent from the IZOD IndyCar Series schedule in 2010, but Justin has plenty of experience there from six previous visits which yielded three top-10 finishes: 2nd (2006) and 4th (2005) with RuSPORT in the Champ Car World Series and 7th in the IZOD IndyCar Series with Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing in 2008.

After a successful test at the track a few weeks ago he’s eager to get back on track in the No. 22 Dad’s Root Beer machine this weekend.

"Milwaukee is a great track,” said Justin. “When the car is good it's a lot of fun. It's a very low-banked track, which can make it very challenging to get the car right. When you do get the car right you feel like you put that little extra bit in as a driver. I've been to Milwaukee before when the car isn't just right, so when it's good it makes it that much better. We had a really good test there and hopefully we can continue that momentum into the race weekend. I'm really looking forward to the race and hopefully we can get a good result."
