WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 16
Noon - 1 p.m. The historic Fort Worth Stockyards will host the Pep Boys Pit Stop Challenge featuring the teams of Eddie Cheever Jr. and Brian Tyler beginning at noon at The Stockyards Station. In addition to Cheever and Tyler, drivers Greg Ray and Robby Unser will also be on hand to "meet and greet" race fans. Former Indy 500 champion Johnny Rutherford and Fort Worth City Councilman Jim Lane will be the timing and scoring officials for the event.
4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Davey Hamilton will host an autograph session and the Reebok show car will be on display at Oshman's in Vista Ridge Mall.
4 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Pep Boys Indy Racing League show car will be on display in front of the USA Brewing Company and Great American Steakhouse & Pub located on 4th and Commerce Street in Fort Worth. Eddie Cheever Jr., Robby Unser, and Greg Ray will participate in an autograph session between 5-6 p.m. inside the USA Brewing Company.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 17
7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Davey Hamilton, Stan Wattles, Sam Schmidt, Stephan Gregoire, Eddie Cheever Jr, Scott Sharp, Mark Dismore, Dave Steele, Scott Goodyear, and Robby Unser and their teams are scheduled to spend an evening at SpeedZone, located at I-35E and Walnut Hill, in Dallas. The evening features racing by the drivers and their teams with a portion of the proceeds going to Speedway Children's Charities and a driver and team autograph session. The Reebok show car will also be on display at the event.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 18
5:45 p.m. - 7 p.m. A Pep Boys IRL and ARCA autograph session will be held at the conclusion of qualifying. Fans will be allowed to enter the Pep Boys Indy Racing League garage for the autograph session. Special souvenir autograph cards for the event are available through The Dallas Morning News.
6 p.m. - 10 p.m. The "Raceway Romp with a Taste of IRL", sponsored by Young Chevrolet, allows patrons to enjoy a "progressive dinner" through the IRL driver's RV area. Presented by Speedway Children's Charities and Championship Auto Racing Auxiliary (CARA) Charities, the event will feature chefs of the IRL who will prepare a variety of treats for guests who will get to dine and visit with many of the competing drivers. SATURDAY, SEPT. 19
11 a.m. - Noon Sam Bass, artist whose work is featured on all Texas Motor Speedway program covers including the Lone Star 500, will be at Speedway World, the official store of Texas Motor Speedway, autographing programs.
