#8 Scott Sharp, Delphi Automotive Systems car: "It was really hot out there today in both practice sessions. We tried to work on our race day set-up, but the temperatures on the track played a big factor with what we could do. In the afternoon practice session, we ran the car with a full fuel load and I was pleased with the times we ran. We have a good car and I feel we will be competitive for tomorrow's race.
#28 Mark Dismore, MCI WorldCom car: "I'm happy with the car. My engineer Chris Coxon has been doing a fantastic job in preparing the entire set-up for me this race weekend. In practice today, we tried to focus on our race day set-up. It was hot out on the track this afternoon, so we didn't make that many changes to the car. I'm excited for the race tomorrow night and I feel confident in the car."
