#1 Scott Dixon- Toyota / Panoz G-Force /Firestone
Will start from 6th place on the grid
"With qualifying on Friday, we've spent a lot more time concentrating on race set up on Saturday and I'm happy with what the Target team has done today. I could run the no.1 Toyota G Force on the high line and the low line. We were somewhat restricted on miles for the final practice and no one really seemed to run in one big pack so it's hard to tell how good the Target car will be in heavy traffic. I expect Sunday's race to be a lot like it was the last time we were here in Texas, and similar to Chicago as well. There will probably be one big pack with cars running side by side for the whole race. It should be exciting for fans and quite the battle for drivers."
#10 Darren Manning- Toyota / Panoz G-Force /Firestone
On not racing at Texas Finale:
"It is a shame to end the season in this manner. I feel really good but I will certainly abide by the doctor's recommendations. I have learned and gained a vast amount of experience from the Target team and we improved steadily throughout the year. I feel badly for my crew who worked so hard this year and we all would have liked to have had a chance to end the season on a better note. It's a bit of a let down but at the same time I know that I have a lot to look forward to as the Target team prepares for the 2005 IndyCar Series season."
