Scott Dixon -- No. 9 Target Toyota
"What an amazing year for everyone here at Team Target. We started the year off with a win in Homestead and we were able to finish the season with a championship. I can't say enough about this whole team that Chip has assembled. Everybody's goal here at this team is to win championships. They work so hard day in and day out to get achieve that goal. I'm just a small part of this title, and I'm proud to be a member of this team. I'm extremely happy with how things went today. Luck really seemed to fall our way. I hope that Kenny (Brack) is going to be OK. He was a teammate of mine last year and you hate to see that happen. I have to thank everyone involved for this title. It was a true team effort."
Tomas Scheckter -- No. 10 Target Toyota
"We had a strong car for most of the race today. I was just riding back there, saving fuel and waiting until the end of the race. I was trying to help Scott (Dixon) as much as I could during the day. Then at the end, I don't know what happened. All of a sudden I was going backward. I hope that Kenny's (Brack) going to be alright. He took a massive hit and my thoughts are with him."
Chip Ganassi -- Team Owner
"I know one time for sure I called Mike (Hull) on the phone one day and said, "Hey, it looks like we're out of this thing". And, sure enough, we weren't. It's a competitive series. You can see out there just today, I think the championship changed leaders during the race four or five times at least. I can tell you that my stomach was doing flip- flops. I think my hat's off to these two guys on my right. (Mike Hull, Scott Dixon) They race week in, week out during the year, they just constantly were in it. I feel fortunate that Scott came with us when he did a year and a half ago or so. I'm glad that we're able to give him good cars to win with. I'd like to think that any time we need something around the team, we go get it. And I gave everybody the tools they need to do well. We've got great management in Indianapolis. We've got great engineers. And to top it all off we've got great drivers.
This is the team's 5th championship in the last 8 years.
