At 4:48 p.m., during the final practice session for tomorrow's Firestone Indy 225, Sarah Fisher spun in Turn 3 and contacted the outside retaining wall with the left rear of the car. The car suffered heavy damage to the rear and moderate damage to the front wing and suspension.

Dr. Henry Bock, directory of medical services for the Indy Racing League provided the following medical update: Sarah Fisher is awake and alert. She is being transported via air to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, for evaluation of back pain.
