Indianapolis, IN: Robby McGehee had a busy weekend. After completing 200 laps on the Walt Disney World tri-oval and crossing the finish line in tenth position, he quickly hopped a plane and headed home to St. Louis to watch the city's home team take on the Titans for the Superbowl.

A diehard Ram's fan and a St. Louis resident, McGehee proudly displayed his support by running the team's decal on his #55 Energizer Advanced Formula G-Force/Aurora/Firestone package for the running of the Delphi Indy 200 last Saturday afternoon.

A harried race, the 26 year-old did his part to keep the action exciting with a few encounters with the marbles which led to some fairly fancy hand and foot coordination to keep it off the wall. An early brush with the back of Eddie Cheever's car forced the team to do a complete front wing change as a damaged end-fence began cutting into the inside front tire. Despite the challenges, McGehee kept a cool head and ran most of the day in the top five, including taking the lead for five laps early on-to finish the day with a solid top ten finish.

"A little bit disappointed at the 10th place finish considering where we were running throughout the race," stated McGehee, "but then again, I'm happy to bring the car back in one piece considering some of the moments that I endured. I had a near miss with Cheever, the marbles (twice), and several near misses with some of the guys in the back of the pack. Overall though, I feel very confident with the quality of Treadway Racing, and I know we will be in the winners circle sooner than later."

Once settled at home on Sunday, McGehee switched gears to become a couch quarterback for his home team during an exciting Superbowl game that brought the Ram's their title. "What can I say," he said. "That was the best Super Bowl or football game in general that I have ever watched! One yard made the difference on the final play of the game. My family and I were going crazy."

McGehee and Treadway Racing are gearing up for the next run of open tests at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Phoenix International Raceway which will take place in a few short weeks.
