Both Kelley Racing have one focus this weekend: win. Mark Dismore and Scott Sharp are both concentrating on race setups. After being in the hunt for the front row at Texas and losing out to the weather, Kelley Racing decided to put more emphasis on race set-ups. Mark Dismore and the OnStar team ended the day in 12th position with a speed of 170.261 mph. However, Delphi pilot Scott Sharp top speed of 171.664 mph came in the morning practice session. Sharp ended the day in 7th overall position.

Mark Dismore #28 OnStar/GM BuyPower/Bryant Dallara:

"I've been fighting a little push all day in both corners. We tried both cars in the morning session, and over lunch I decided which one to race. I think when we trim the car out for qualifying tomorrow, the OnStar team will be in the hunt for a top 5 starting spot, but I really want to run good in the race and that's our main focus."

Scott Sharp #8 Delphi Automotive Systems/Futaba/Worldcom Dallara:

"The Delphi car is awesome, especially in these cooler conditions. I'm really pumped about our race car, and really glad we didn't wipe it out with that minor touch in three. I was racing with some guys and somebody checked up a little. Buddy Lazier and I touched but there was no damage to either car thankfully. I'm real excited about our chances of making it two in a row for the Delphi team, I just hope I don't have to work as hard for this one."
