ABOUT PRACTICE:
"Sam Hornish and his guys are the ones we are watching for this weekend. The focus of the Purex team today was to see what the car would do over a period of laps, not just one lap. We've got to have a good race car. Condition-wise the wind picked up this afternoon, but with our G Force we improved the car with things we learned in testing and at Homestead. Even though the conditions are not as good as when we tested here, we've improved our car today. When we were here for the test we were running the old Infiniti motor, and now we have a newer spec. The Infiniti engineers have definitely improved the engine. We are very happy with the power. Today is Friday, but as a team we are focused on race day on Sunday."

ABOUT INFINITI INDY 35A ENGINE:
"I have been very happy with the Infiniti motor ever since Indianapolis last year. As a team, Eddie Cheever, myself, and the entire Infiniti group, have worked hard to improve reliability as well as performance. They haven't lost sight of reliability at the price of performance. We as Infiniti need to focus on winning on race day, and we will." <pre> COMBINED PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
