"I think we left something out on the track today. The car felt very good and the engine was strong. I think I didn't get the most out of the car in qualifying. We just had to put everything today. Maybe it's because I'm new to this track. But I really like this place. It's like a road course for me. I don't think we took advantage of everything we had today. But for the race, I'm very excited. The car is very good in race settings. I would have liked to have qualifying better but that didn't happen today. So we have to work towards the race. Honda will help us for the race too. That will be important for Sunday. This track is so much different than anything on the IndyCar circuit. It is a road course with left hand turns. I need to learn a little more about the track and trusting my car. I didn't do that in qualifying. But I feel good about the car for the race."

BUDDY RICE (No. 15 Pioneer/Argent Mortgage Honda G-Force)
(Recorded the 10th fastest speed at 20.461 seconds, 164.507 m.p.h.)

"Last week was disappointing for us but we still have the same determination as before. We shouldn't try harder this weekend because that can get you in trouble sometimes. The car wasn't as good as we wanted today but I feel confident about the race setup. I feel that our car is very consistent. Maybe not the fastest car outright but we should be good in race trim. Traffic is always a problem here and we can use it to our advantage too. With downshifts and braking, it is a lot different than the other tracks and setups become very important. The Honda has been the strongest motor this year but here you need a combination of everything to win. It is always nice to have the big Honda power behind you. (About 100th IRL race) "The IRL has been very good to me. After coming up through the small ranks, the IRL let me get to the top of the open-wheel sport. And teams like Rahal Letterman have given me a car that is capable of winning races. That's all I have ever asked for in this series."
