Matsuura Looking for a Change of Luck in Milwaukee

The IndyCar Series heads to the world's oldest operating motor speedway, The Milwaukee Mile, this weekend for the ABC Supply Company -- AJ Foyt 225. Kosuke Matsuura had his first look at the challenging one-mile oval last year where he rebounded from a practice crash and last row starting position to finish 10th.

The past two events have been unlucky for Matsuura, who watched potential top-10 finishes slip away through no fault of his own. He has finished every one-mile oval event he has contested, and will be looking to keep that streak alive this weekend and turn his fortunes around.

* Will be making his second start at Milwaukee and 26th IndyCar Series career start

* Started 22nd at Milwaukee last year and finished 10th

* Has four top-10 finishes to date this season

* Recorded best finish to date this season of seventh at Texas

* Best starting position to date this season was seventh at St. Petersburg

* Career best finish to date was fourth at Kentucky last season

* Currently sits 13th in the point standings

Kosuke Matsuura, #55 Panasonic ARTA Panoz/Honda/Firestone: "We have had some bad luck in the last two races, but that is behind us now. I am looking forward to this race and improving on our results this season. The Milwaukee track can be difficult, but the team has been very strong on the one-mile ovals and Adrian [Fernandez] has a lot of experience and good results at this track so I'm confident for this weekend. There are only eight races left, and we need to end the season strong."
