Tony Kanaan on the Michigan Indy 400:
"Michigan Speedway is where I won my first 'big league' race in 1999, so it is a special place for me. I'm sure the race will be fast and exciting. Team 7-Eleven just needs to remain focused on our goals, which are to win as many races as possible and extend our lead in the points race."

Eric Cowdin, Race Engineer, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone, on the Michigan Indy 400:
"We're into the real meat of the season and the next month will be the key to deciding the championship. Team 7-Eleven is just taking things race by race. We're happy with the result we had in Milwaukee. When you don't have the car the way it needs to be, you just have to do everything possible to bring it home and Tony did a better job than the car he had in the race. Michigan should be a strong race for us. Tony likes the track; he always has, and I think our package will be strong."
