Indianapolis IN (May 14, 1998) - Team Pelfrey announced today that John Paul Jr. would replace injured driver Danny Ongais in the No. 81 Dallara Aurora. "I'm looking forward to getting started this morning" Paul said. "All of the ingredients are in place. Danny ran 216 right out of the box and we've kept up with the changes the other teams have made."

The team has made some changes to fit the six foot four driver in the car. "We had to move the pedals three inches back" Paul said. The team gained some extra space behind the driver by reducing the amount of foam in the rear of the custom fitted seat.

KECO, an Indiana-based coating company will provide sponsorship for the Dallara/Aurora(Roush)/Firestone combination.
