FORT WORTH-DALLAS (May 27, 1999) - John Hollansworth Jr. and his TeamXtreme teammates continue to rack up the recognition this week at Indianapolis. Today, the CAM (Championship Auto Mechanics) "Top Wrench Award" went to TeamXtreme crew chief Rob Stark. Stark, who was voted the best mechanic by his peers, received a $5000 check and a new tool box.

The team also received the "Hot Crew" award from Fire Cold for qualifying as the fastest rookie team.

Hollansworth, who will start twelfth in Sunday's Indianapolis 500, ran thirteenth fastest in the Pcsave.com/Lycos Dallara during Coors Carburetion Day.

"We learned a little about the race set-up," said team owner and Dallas businessman Rick Sharp. "From an owners perspective, the main thing is we got the car back in the garage in one piece. Now, let's go racing."

Hollansworth was also pleased with the day.

"The car felt really good," said Hollansworth. "The car had more in it, but we didn't want to push it. We ran enough laps to check out the new gear box and set the new brakes. We also tried out a new hydration system which worked really well."

Tomorrow, Hollansworth and team owner Sharp will join Jim Hoenschied of season-long sponsor Lycos and George Yelder of Time Warner Cable of Indianapolis for the Indianapolis 500 Invitational Golf Tournament. The foursome will join other drivers, teams and sponsors in a little relaxation prior to this weekend's activities.
