J.J. Yeley, driver of the Jonathan Byrd-McCormack Motorsports / WorldBestBuy.com / Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria 30 in the Indy Racing Northern Light Series, continued an impressive season in USAC's national divisions, with a second place finish in Monday's Silver Bullet race in DuQuoin, Illinois.

His runner-up finish moved J.J. into fourth place in the season standings for the Silver Bullet championship, only seventy-six points behind the series leader with five events remaining on the series' calendar. In eight races, J.J. has compiled a record that includes four top five finishes and four top ten finishes. Additionally, J.J. is the only driver in the top eight in the point standings to have competed in only eight events this season, the remainder of the top eight having competed in allnine of this season's races.

In addition to his impressive record in the Silver Bullet series, J.J. has compiled an equally impressive record in USAC's Stoops Freightliner Sprint Series. J.J. stands fourth in points, with a record of six top five finishes and seventeen top ten finishes in twenty three races this season.

J.J., of course, has also competed in two Northern Light Series races for Jonathan Byrd-McCormack Motorsports this season, bringing the WorldBestBuy.com car home in finishing positions of seventeenth in Atlanta, and fifteenth two weeks ago at the beautiful, new Kentucky Speedway.
