91st Running of the Indianapolis 500 Practice Results (May 19, 2007) and Quotes:
Tomas Scheckter -- No. 2 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
On Practice: "Today was a solid day. We put in a massive amount of laps and were able to get a lot of good data out of the car. We have a strong racecar and I think we showed that on our long runs. We just have to see what race day will be like and go from there, but I'm confident in what we have. The guys have really worked hard this month and it shows in my car."
Ed Carpenter -- No. 20 Hitachi Power Tools Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
On Practice: "We did more laps today than the two days before and we had kind of been saving engine miles and tires for that so it worked out well. We were counting on today being a warm day and it was so that was good. We would have liked for it to been a little hotter, just in case race day is hot, but I'm happy with where we are at with the racecar. I think we have a really good balance on the Hitachi Power Tools car and we know what it will do in traffic and dirty air so I feel good about the direction we are going for the race."
Davey Hamilton -- No. 02 HP Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
On Practice: "Today was good. We actually did some full, long runs to simulate race conditions and it was good. We missed a little bit on gearing, but the HP car ran well and was easy to drive. Now we just have to see what happens on race day with regard to weather and put the right setup on the car."
A.J. Foyt IV -- No. 22 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone
On Practice: "We had another good day of practice. We were able to do some race simulation runs by going out with full fuel for longer periods of time just to see how the car would react and I was happy with it. I think we'll be in good shape for the race so now we'll just kind of wait and see what the weather is going to do and plan accordingly."
