Scott Sharp No. 8 Delphi/Dallara/Toyota/Firestone
"It was a good afternoon for the Delphi crew. We made some good changes. We came out here and decided we would spend this last hour trying to address some issues and that will let us go back tonight and make some good decisions for tomorrow. The rain delay didn't affect us at all today since it's early in the week and you really don't want to be out flogging it all day, every day. It was a nice little break to look at the data and see where we are at and then go back out and make improvements."

Sarah Fisher. No. 39 Bryant/CAN/Dallara/Toyota/Firestone
"Today seemed like a struggle for the Bryant/CAN team. We had a car that was workable this morning and this afternoon we just kind of struggled along with it a little bit. We finally got a handle on it in the last couple outings of the day. The car was much more drivable and consistent at the end of the day and that is our focus for right now, to be consistent. I think once we have that, the speed will follow. In analyzing where we've come from we've gained a mile per hour each day and if we can continue to do that we'll be in good shape on Saturday."
Total Laps: 63
