SPEEDWAY, IN . . . Rahal/Letterman Racing and Miller Lite driver Jimmy Vasser took full advantage of a beautiful Indiana spring day to log 75 laps [187.5 miles] for their busiest practice day of the month. Vasser topped the 225 mph mark for the first time in practice with a lap of 225.163 mph, which was good for 24th overall.

The Miller Lite team continued working with the car trying to fine-tune the set-up that the team will use in Saturday's Pole Day qualifying.

Practice resumes tomorrow morning at Noon EDT for the May 26th Indy 500.

Jimmy Vasser (#19 Miller Lite- Dallara/Chevrolet on Firestone tires) -"We continued to work away on our plan on both cars with different set-ups. We were finally able to get some more time on the track with the two cars today [75 laps]. We have been behind a little bit due to the weather problems. We're starting to get more trimmed out with each car and therefore we have been able to squeeze a few more miles per hour out of them. I will admit that the car has felt solid even with the high wind conditions over the last few days. I think we're struggling to get up to the fast guys but we have a few more tricks we are going to pull out during practice on Friday "
