Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Overall, this was a good day for the team. We're all in. It was definitely exciting at the end. For myself, I would have loved to have gone out at the end in the Motorola car. After I qualified, I practiced and every one of my laps was faster than my qualifying run, so it would have been nice to go out there. It was going to take a good chunk of time to get up in the thick of things. But, considering TK's run, there was some hope there. It's disappointing, but Michael (Andretti) reminded me that nobody ever remembers where anybody qualifies. So, if it wasn't going to be the pole or the front row - then, whatever."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I was convinced that I could beat Helio (Castroneves). For 23 years it's been me and this guy (Castroneves). Unfortunately I think my warmup lap was too quick and I lost it on the last lap. I wanted to get the pole for all of the AGR crewmen, the engineers and for Dario. It's not the first time and won't be the last. I really have to thank Team 7-Eleven and Andretti Green Racing. To get five cars in on the first day is a tremendous accomplishment. It's a great feeling and I'm happy for the team."
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It wasn't an easy run. We went out with a pretty big amount of understeer but the back end wasn't what I needed it to be either. It's hard to help the understeer when you're worried about the back end so I was hanging on for dear life. I'm wasn't quick enough but I didn't come here for the pole. The NYSE car is in the field and that is all I am worried about. Now we can switch our focus to the race."
Dario Franchitti, #27 Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I was delighted by the speed of the Canadian Club car. It was the fastest four-lap average I've had all week. It was a really, really great job by the whole Andretti Green team: all of my teammates, the engineers, everybody. Tony and I have been working very closely all week. We're all on the same set up here and we're getting closer and closer to having the same type of car, which lets us help each other and that is big. We didn't have the speed to go for it again today, but we (Andretti Green Racing) got five cars in today. It was a great day for AGR."
Michael Andretti, #39 Motorola/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It was a very, very emotional day. It was a total rollercoaster. It didn't end up perfect, but pretty close. What can you say? Five cars in the top 11 and two in the front row. That's pretty darn good. I'm just very proud of the team. They've done a great job. My run in the Motorola/Jim Beam car was just 'so-so.' If I could have done in the first two laps what I did in the last two laps, I'd be a lot happier. "
