Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We were working on our race setup and finding a good balance for the ArcaEx car; trying to find something that will work in traffic as well as when we are on our own. We want to run a competitive speed but keep a good feel in the car. We made some changes that made things worse, and then made some more changes which made things even better. It's nice to have three teammates to run with. The four of us can run together and get some simulation of traffic; it's almost like a race each day at 3 o'clock. We have more work to do tomorrow, weather permitting, but I'm pretty happy with the ArcaEx car tonight."
Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a very difficult track to get around when you're full of fuel and there are a lot of cars around you. I think everybody is having the same problem with a lot of push in traffic. It's our second day to work on race setup and we're going to work even harder to try and perfect the Klein Tools/Jim Beam race car. The conditions here change a lot so you've got to make sure you're on top of that all the time."
Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The XM Satellite Radio team had a pretty good day. There are some things that we would obviously like to work on, but I am much, much happier with the car in race trim than I was in qualifying. We had a lot on our plate today to try and accomplish and we got through everything, so it was a really positive day for us."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Today we were working on full-tank runs with the Team 7-Eleven car as well as seeing how we performed in traffic. It's no secret because you know that everyone is doing the same thing. It's going to be a matter of finding the right balance for the race. The car is good but we have time to make it even better."
