Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We made progress today regarding speed, but we're still looking to make the Team 7-Eleven car more comfortable. The car is becoming a bit less stable. I would love to be better than we are right now but that's the way it is. We've got to work our way through it as a team and that's what we'll do."
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Today was short due to the rain, but we were able to accomplish some things that we needed to do. Actually, I would have been happier if it had been a shorter day because my first run was the quickest and the NYSE car was pretty comfortable. Then we started chasing the balance and just lost speed for some reason. This place is already making me scratch my head, but hopefully we'll find that balance again tomorrow."
Dario Franchitti, #27 Klein Tools/Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"From a positive standpoint, there's no doubt that we've improved the Klein Tools/Canadian Club car today. We'll just hope to keep doing that over the next few days if the weather cooperates and see what we can do on Saturday."
Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We still have a lot to accomplish with the XM Satellite Radio car. We may have taken a small step forward today but we still have some work to do to get up to speed. Tony (Kanaan) had a good day in terms of speed so we need to look to him for the changes he made and try to come up with a few of our own in the constant search for speed. That's what Indy is all about."
Michael Andretti, #1 Jim Beam/Vonage Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We're getting a little better. We're still not where we want to be. But, the way this place is, you've just got to claw your way back into it and we're trying. We're just trying to find more speed. I think the Jim Beam/Vonage car is a really good race car. I think we're going to be very strong in the race. We're just trying to get it in the front of the field. We want to start in the top 11. That's the goal."
