Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We went out after lunch and made a couple of adjustments to the ArcaEx car and weren't happy, so we kept working at it. I have to give a lot of credit to the ArcaEx team in the way they stuck at it all day, because we kept making changes and we kept improving. We made some good changes and I was happy with the balance of the car. I think we kept learning more in each run. All in all, I'm pretty happy and we're almost ready for race day."
Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We've faced a lot of difficulties with the fact that we've been losing speed every now and then, but the Klein Tools/Jim Beam car seems to be working well in traffic. I'm not sure we have a car capable of winning the race just yet, but I feel competitive in traffic and sometimes it's not necessarily the quickest car that wins this race. We're still working hard and my crew has done an excellent job for me all month."
Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Today was very similar to my entire month. The XM Satellite Radio car is really good; it just won't quite do the one, big lap for some reason. But, it feels very good in traffic and I was able to run with my teammates and some other fast cars today."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The Team 7-Eleven car is pretty good and I think we're pretty close to hitting the right setup for the race. We just need to stay calm and keep our heads together because there are a lot of situations that can develop; the weather can change a lot. You could say that we're making our cookbook and on race day we'll open to the page that has the right recipe for the conditions and at the end of the day, hopefully we'll drink the milk."
