IRL: Indy 500: Andretti Green Racing day 11 notes

Bryan Herta, ...

Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It was good to finally get some mileage on the track today. Unfortunately we had a minor problem that took away some of our running time, but we definitely found a couple things on the setup of the XM Satellite Radio car that I feel more comfortable with. When we put the qualifying setup on tomorrow I think we'll find a lot more speed."

Dario Franchitti, #27 Klein Tools/Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We didn't even go near a qualifying setup for the Klein Tools/Canadian Club car today. We're taking a little bit of a gamble because we're going to show up tomorrow morning having not run the qualifying car since last Sunday. We were pretty happy with it then, so hopefully it will work tomorrow and that will allow us Sunday to concentrate one more day on just trying to get a decent race car for the race. I'm hoping that now we have an idea of where we need to be."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I would be happy to put the #11 Team 7-Eleven car in the first three rows. It's hard to say where we'll be because there were so many cars out there today that even if you tried to do a qualifying simulation on your own, you might be getting a draft from someone so you're only fooling yourself. We'll see. We'll shoot for the first three rows. I've never started worse than fifth since I've been coming here and I'd like to keep that tradition. But if we can't we'll just make it up in the race."

Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"During the day we did a lot of race running and race sims and made a lot of changes to the #26 NYSE car. Right now we've got the best setup that we think we can have for the race car. After today there's not much time left to work on your race setups. On my last run of the day I did a qualifying setup just to see what we had."

Michael Andretti, #1 Jim Beam/Vonage Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I don't know what the Jim Beam/Vonage car will have in it tomorrow because we didn't do any qualifying work today. We'll just have to close our eyes and see. The car is not where I want it to be, but we're getting there. The month was going very good, but this past week has been frustrating. I wish that we would have qualified last weekend because the car was really good. But that's the way it goes."
