Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The Klein Tools/Jim Beam car was definitely fast on its own today, so I'm happy about that. It's the Indianapolis 500 and you've got what you've got right now; you can't change it. The Klein Tools/Jim Beam boys have gone through the car to find out exactly what the problem is. They haven't found it, but it seems a lot quicker, so I have to give them a lot of credit because they've worked hard all month."
Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The preparation has been good and I'm really happy with the job that the XM Satellite Radio team has done for me all month. This is probably the most cars that have been on track all month at one time and that changes things. We're almost ready. We're going to look at the data and maybe make a change here or there, but we're ready to go race. I really feel that the engineering group at Andretti Green Racing is the best in the pit lane so if anybody is going to get it right, it will be these guys."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"There were a lot of people trying to look good by posting big speeds with tows, but we just did our thing. The Team 7-Eleven car was second fastest and I had a tow. But I also got a good feel for the car. But who cares who was first or second on Carb Day? We'll not remember that on Sunday. All that matters is that we feel good about the car, and I feel very good about the Team 7-Eleven car."
Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone # "We had some difficulty during today's practice session. We didn't have the speed we were looking for in the ArcaEx car. The balance of the car was very good, so we'll have to look in other areas."
