Michael Andretti, #1 Jim Beam/Vonage Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Right at the end of the day, we found something and it was good. We tried some of the things that Bryan was doing and it worked. I was pretty happy. It's a shame we had our (mechanical) problem there at the end, because I think we were going forward there with the Jim Beam/Vonage car. The biggest thing now will be the weather (forecasted warmer weather on race day), which is going to dramatically change everything. We'll have to wait and see what happens."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Today was a good day for Team 7-Eleven. We've been working on finding a balance to the car that is comfortable and fast and today I think we found that point. It's been a long month but we qualified well yesterday and we had a very good day of practice today, running in packs as well as on our own. I really like the way the #11 Team 7-Eleven car is performing right now."
Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I think the XM Satellite Radio car was as good of a race car as I've had this month. I was really happy until the last run of the day, so that kind of saps a little bit of your enthusiasm. I still feel like we made good progress today and are getting closer to the setup we're looking for on the race car."
Dario Franchitti, #27 Klein Tools/Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Today we're in the fine-tuning process. We've got a setup on the Klein Tools/Canadian Club car and we're going to try and make it work. We're very close to having something we can race with. I'm feeling slightly more positive about things."
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Today was really our last day to work on finding a good race setup for the #26 NYSE car. Fortunately we were able to run a lot of laps and try some different things to see how the car would respond. We try to gather as much data as possible for as many different scenarios as we can; things like how the car responds to different track temperatures, wind speed and directions, anything that we might encounter on race day."
