Adrian Fernandez, #5 Quaker State/Telmex/Tecate Panoz G Force/Honda/Firestone:
"It was another great day for Fernandez Racing. This is our fourth day, and we were in the top three again when we finished running earlier in the day. I am getting more confident every time we go out. Conditions were a little bit hotter and windier than yesterday but still the car is performing beautifully. We made just very small changes to the car. Obviously there are some tows [drafting] out there but I think from what we can see, we are pretty competitive. I am looking forward to finishing this week and going into qualifying. In general, the team is doing a tremendous job and I am very proud of them, and Kosuke is doing an awesome job. We just have to keep up the momentum and not get too over-excited and just keep doing what we are doing."

Tom Anderson, Co-Owner/Managing Director:
"The conditions today, with the increased wind velocity, required a few minor changes to the car but the momentum continues for the #5 Quaker State/Telmex/Tecate team. Everything is still moving forward extremely well, and I am very pleased with Adrian's performance. I am also very pleased with the Firestone tires. It looks like they are going to be a real success this weekend, and there will not be any dramas throughout the month with the Firestone tires. We look forward to building some more momentum tomorrow as we head into the qualifying weekend."
