#26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone driver Marco Andretti
Marco Andretti on the Homestead-Miami Indy 300 Presented by XM Satellite Radio:
"I'm pretty confident entering my first IndyCar Series race. It's all about a comfort level right now. That's what Eddie (Jones, engineer) and I have been focusing on to this point; a race setup and getting the #26 NYSE car as solid underneath me as possible. The race is all about what your car is going to let you do, and if the car's going to let me do it then we have as good a shot as anyone."
Eddie Jones, Race Engineer,
#26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone, on the Homestead-Miami Indy 300:
"The Homestead-Miami oval is unique in that it is very high banked with very tight radius turns and is very, very fast which makes for fast and furious racing. It will be quite a challenge for a rookie driver in his first oval race. Marco and the NYSE team have tested very well there. He has built a lot of confidence and seems to be comfortable running in traffic. We think we've covered all the bases and are quite hopeful of a good result."
