Joliett, IL: Indy Racing League Rookie of the Year Felipe Giaffone will start 6th and fellow rookie Rick Treadway 15th in tomorrow's Delphi INDY 300 from the Chicagoland Speedway. Giaffone ran 218.958 MPH in his #21 Hollywood entry while Treadway toured the smooth 1.5 mile oval at 216.468 MPH in the #5 Meijer entry for Treadway-Hubbard Racing.

"The car was really good," said Giaffone. "That's all it had, so I'm pretty happy. We've been good all weekend and I hope we can keep it up in the race. We were really hooked up in St. Louis and had some bad luck. I just hope we can get some good luck. We just really haven't had a break go our way this year. Maybe tomorrow."

"I was flat all the way," said Treadway. "The Meijer, Coca-Cola car's been great all weekend. I'm still learning and running for more experience. We accomplished our qualifying objectives and now I just want to finish the race. I was happy with our performance in Kentucky and I hope we can keep it up tomorrow."

Giaffone is currently 5th in overall driver points and clinched the Rookie of the Year title last weekend after only 11 of the 13 races. This is Treadway's second career IRL start. The Delphi INDY 300 from the Chicagoland Speedway can be seen on ABC TV at 4 p.m. EDT on Sunday September 2nd.
