Scott Dixon -- No. 9 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 3rd
Speed -- 226.219 mph

"The car was pretty dialed in. It's faster than we've gone all weekend. Sure, we would have liked to get the pole, but it's a good starting position for us. Team Target has done a great job this weekend and we're in a good position going into tomorrow's race. We need to get a good, consistent finish in the race tomorrow to give us a shot at the title next month in Texas."

Tomas Scheckter -- No. 10 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 7th
Speed -- 224.523 mph

"We've focused mostly on race setup this weekend. It's a long race (400 miles) and you need to be up front at the end. Qualifying is really not that important, especially at a track like this one. There will be a lot of passing out there tomorrow. It should be a fun race. It's been a while since a Target car has been into victory lane, we really need to get on there tomorrow."

Notes:

- It is the 14th straight top-6 start for Scott Dixon. It is also the 11th time this season that Dixon has qualified 3rd or better.

- In the last 14 races, Scott Dixon's average qualifying position is 2.46 including 5 poles, two seconds, two thirds, a fourth, two fifths and a sixth.
