Long time IMS associate Dave Cassidy, 69, died last Saturday after a recent operation on his heart. Cassidy worked for over 40 years at IMS both for Tony Hulman and his grandson Tony George.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 24th, at 10:00AM at St. Michael Catholic Church where he was a member. Calling is tonight at Conkles from 4 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors are his wife Mary A. Earley Cassidy, daughters Ann Bernard, Susan Cassidy, Catherine Ray, and three grandchildren.

"Dave Cassidy was a part of our family and our lives as long as I've been involved in racing," said Mari Hulman George, chairman of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and daughter of late Speedway owner Tony Hulman. "My whole family has been deeply saddened by the loss of this dear friend of our family."
