Quote on the Delphi Indy 300

"In Chicago you will be running two abreast all day long and it really is a good race track for that. It's going to be your typical wheel-to-wheel, race to the checkered flag IndyCar Series show. The whole thing at Chicago is to be a part of the lead pack after your final stop and if you can do that than you have shot at winning the whole thing."

Scott Sharp, No. 8 Delphi/Dallara/Toyota/Firestone---Fast Facts and Quote

This will be Sharp's 80th career start, his 72nd consecutive IndyCar start--an IRL record-- and his sixth season with Kelley Racing.

Chicago Record--In 2002, Sharp started 16th and finished 7th and in 2001 he started 3rd and finished 25th after an accident.

Sharp is currently in eighth place in the IndyCar Series with 280 points.

Sharp's victory in April at Twin Ring Motegi, Japan was his eighth career victory.

Quote on the Delphi Indy 300

"Chicago last year was an incredible finish. We had that caution with 15 or 20 laps to go and it was craziness for the rest of the race. There was a lot of dicing for position, three wide, and it's always like that at Chicago. Chicago is a great track. I love that place. Luckily, we got to test there because it's such an important event for us since it's Delphi sponsored."
